Where can I get personal guidance?
Looking for an interesting vacancy, but unable to find one? Come visit Eindhoven Doet at the Beemdstraat or one of our walk-in offices in your vicinity or make an appointment. Click here for addresses, visiting hours and contact details.
How do I request a passe-partout?
As volunteer you'll receive a free passe-partout from the gemeente Eindhoven for the swimming pool and/or skating rink. If you have an account on Eindhoven Doet, you can come and collect your voucher at our office. No account, yet? Make one (upper right of the website) then you can come during visiting hours for a voucher. The office is located at the Beemdstraat 29 in Eindhoven.
How do I present myself as an attractive volunteer?
Once you're logged in can you fill in your profile. The more complete, the more interesting you are for the organisation looking for you! We also advice you to look for fitting vacancies yourself. You can make your own selections with different search filters.
Still unable to find a fitting vacancy?
Come visit us for personal guidance at Eindhoven Doet or an inlooppunt in your vicinity. Perhaps you like a certain organisation in your vicinity? You can also type the name of the organisation in the search field, then you'll be shown all volunteer activities. Or you can call the organisation yourself saying you want to volunteer there.
I have responded to a vacancy, but I don't get any response.
The organisation is responsible for contacting (potential) volunteers. You can also contact the organisation yourself. The contact details can be found in the confirmation email or in the vacancy text.
How do I find an interesting volunteer vacancy?
Look for a fitting voluntary activity in our vacancy bank.
Tip: First complete the online talentscan to find out what kind of volunteer you are and which vacancies within Eindhoven Doet are interesting for you.
I have seen an interesting vacancy. How can I contact the organisation?
If you're logged in, you can directly react on the vacancy by clicking on the button 'Apply'. The organisation will receive a message you're interested and will contact you. If you'd rather contact them yourself, you can use the contact details listed beneath the vacancy.
What is a jobalert?
When you make a jobalert you'll receive an email when there are new vacancies which you might find interesting based on your specifications.
How do I opt in/out of the candidate database?
While you register your account you can select whether to be included in the candidates database. If you want to change this at a later time, you can do so after logging into your account.
What is the candidates database?
Organisations can actively search for volunteers in the Candidates Database. Through a selection they can search for a suitable volunteer.
When are you a volunteer or active citizen of Eindhoven?
Do you live in Eindhoven and are you volunteering or are you active in some way or another in making the city of Eindhoven more beautiful on a voluntary basis? Then you're a volunteer of Eindhoven. Even if you don't live in Eindhoven, but you are volunteering in Eindhoven, then you're also a volunteer of Eindhoven!
All volunteers of Eindhoven can register via www.eindhovendoetforvolunteers.nl and make use of all the benefits therein. Note: to use the free passe-partout, you will need a Eindhoven city pass. Volunteers whom do not live in Eindhoven, can apply for one on the site of the gemeente Eindhoven. Do mind there are costs involved.
