Who are we?
Vluchtelingen in de knel offers protection to refugees who have been rejected and therefore excluded from amenities. We work from the principal every person has the right to a dignified existence. That is why we are committed to ensuring these refugees have access to basic services and offer them intensive social-legal support.

Who are you
You are involved with these people and want to contribute to their dignified existence. You are confident and a real go-getter. You find it an interesting challenge to offer psychosocial guidance to people with a diverse background and sometimes obstacles in the linguistic area.

What you’re doing
As a psychosocial counselor you try to support our clients in conversations to get a grip on daily lives in the Netherlands. Our clients often suffer from psychological problems from traumas from their country of origin or their precarious existence in the Netherlands.

How much time is required from you?
At least one part of a day per week. Depending on your availability, for example, 1 or 2 conversations in the week.
Possibly attend work meeting and training or other interesting meetings.
